Are you ready to start your Clubbercise instructor journey? Let’s make things a bit more affordable...

If you're based in England you could be eligible for the CIMSPA Retrain to Retain scheme and/or the EMD UK Open Bursary, both provided by Sport England.

Instructors who are eligible for both will receive £125 of the course fee back.


Applying for the ReTrain to ReTain scheme is simple and quick, watch this video and here to learn how. 

Then, apply for your £50 voucher here.

Once you receive your voucher via email (please allow up to 7 working days for this), simply follow the details in the email to redeem £50 against the Clubbercise training course.

You can also redeem your £50 ReTrain to ReTain voucher and apply for the EMD UK Bursary (see below) on one form here, just make sure you tick the last box: 'I wish to use apply for EMD UK Open Bursary funding and use my Retrain to Retain funding towards an endorsed CPD course'.


You'll be eligible for the £75 bursary if you plan to teach Clubbercise in England and hold at least one of the following qualifications:

  • Level 2 Fitness Instructing e.g. Exercise to Music (ETM), Aqua, Gym, Children's Fitness
  • Level 2 Group Training to Music (formerly ETM)
  • Level 2 Group Training
  • Level 2 (DFQ) Exercise, Movement and Dance
  • Level 2 Gym Instructor
  • Level 3 Personal Trainer
  • Level 3 Yoga OR 300 hours certificate
  • Level 3 Pilates

How to apply for the EMD UK Open Bursary

Step 1. Apply for an open bursary place on the EMD UK website here, providing evidence of your level 2 qualification. If successful you will then receive an email from containing your exclusive discount code.

Step 2. Book your training via the Clubbercise website here and add your discount code to access the saving and pay the remainder of the course fee. You will then receive confirmation of your booking direct from Clubbercise.

Step 3. Attend and pass the Clubbercise training course. Please refer to the EMD UK Open Bursary section of the Clubbercise course T&Cs for important information.
